Message From The Proprietress
It is with great joy and gratitude that I welcome you all to Intellectual Giants Christian Academy. As the proprietor, I am deeply honoured to address you today and share the vision and values that have shaped our institution since its inception in 1997.
Intellectual Giants Christian Academy was founded with a singular purpose: to create a nurturing and holistic learning environment where every child can thrive. Over the years, our school has grown to encompass six vibrant campuses located in Umuaiah and Aba in Abia State, and Woji, Port Harcourt in Rivers State. Each campus is a testament to our commitment to excellence in education and the development of the whole child.
Our mission is clear. We aim to establish a centre of excellence where high-quality education is not only provided but cherished. We offer our students the opportunity to attain an internationally recognised education, fostering the entrepreneurial spirit crucial for tomorrow's leaders. Our goal is to develop well-rounded individuals for whom positivity, critical thinking, and problem-solving are the cornerstones of a successful life.
At IGCA, we believe in the uniqueness of every child. Our dedicated educators are committed to personal interaction, recognizing that it is paramount to educating and equipping each child to their fullest potential. We strive to cultivate positive, balanced, confident, and God-fearing children who are prepared to make a significant, positive contribution to society.
Our curriculum integrates both the Nigerian and British curricula, structured into four key stages to ensure international standards and seamless transitions. We emphasize the integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) skills into core instructions, empowering our students with the essential technological skills needed to navigate the modern world confidently. Additionally, we place a strong emphasis on practical-oriented teaching, fostering critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity through hands-on learning experiences.
Our vision extends beyond academic excellence. We are dedicated to raising a generation of young people empowered by the Holy Spirit. We equip them spiritually, morally, socially, and academically to reach their highest potential. Our students are prepared to take on leadership roles globally, promoting righteousness and integrity in all aspects of life.
